It was gridlock, which, in part, got us into this debacle to begin with. Throughout the 2000s, I have consistently seen this party pass law after law favouring business over the working class Joe Sixpack types. I've seen years of companies getting subsidised for taking their jobs overseas, while Junior's dad can't even afford to get glasses for his 7th grader son who has just started to need them. These are people who jumped on board when it came to helping banks when the auto industry was about to go kapop. This is a party who has been forceful about getting its own way. When they were in power, they used their filibuster powers, cloture, etc., to win their perks for their Haliburton buddies, etc. while the average poor-middle class worker's finances go straight to Hell. Do you think the way they're behaving now--how hardnosed they are being towards our President--is going to help them in 2012?Talk about making the same mistakes that got them dissed in 2008 and expecting different results? All the Congress agreed with a stand-up applause. Do you think that this was appropiate or not?I believe that he shouldn't come here to tell us what to do or not. He should clean his own yard first! | | If a police officer violate a traffic law, who gonna write him a ticket? | | I just wonder, does a police officer driving a police car has special authority, even though they are breaking the traffic law as many people saw it? Many times, one or two police car was rushing over 55 miles in a 35 street. Some polices even turn the siren on for the intention of not want to wait in red light. After they pass the red light, they simply turn it off. For that, who are going to give them ticket, I was just curious.
Also, even a civilian file a complaint report to the police supervisor, would they even consider take a look at the complaint report or investigate it? Which I doubt it. | |
