| Do you think learning french language is easy or difficult | | I have recently moved to france and I am learning French Language here. I am facing very much difficulty in learning french. The teachers are great, they are awesome and so is my university in france. But I don't know why I am not unable to pick up the basic french. I am struggling badly with the French Language. So do you think french is easy to learn especially compare with english. I think english is much easier to learn they french. Its my personal views. The french is very interesting language though, no doubt about it. Today, I have oral exam of french speaking, I hope I can perform better. I had french listening exam last week and i totally suck in it. I am so bad in listening. I really hope I can do better.Let me know what you think about French Language? | |

| French language or tae-kowan-do for my child? | | My child's school include French language and tae-kowan-do ( a form of korean martial art sports ) as an optional subject in their achool curriculum from V standard . I myself had preference for swiming but it is not offered . Among these two i am undecided . I recognise importance of both but i have to choose between the two . My child is too shy and fearful in outside of home particularly at school . He seems to be lacking in selfconficence because of his comparatively smaller physical stature. I think proficiency in martial art will raise his selfconfidence and courage . On the other hand French is a valuable language internationally . It has good demand from career aspect also . I haveobserved my child haveing a good grasp of language rather than numerics. On this basis i hope him to do good in a foreign language and that may help him inhis career building . SO both has their role in my child's future life . Can you suggest me from your observation and experiences and knowledge which one to choose?Thank you all | |

| if you were to learn another language, what would it be? | | i've known two languages in my entire life: Filipino/Tagalog (my country's language) and English (the international language). of course i know how to speak and write both languages, although not really perfect in grammar. haha!but if i were to learn another one, i would prefer to learn French. i want to learn "the language of love". i dunnoh but i find French so classic and so nice to hear. it's like melody to the ears.how about you? do you have a language you want to learn aside from your own language? | |
| | How to stduy French the easier way? | | Hello Mylotters! I am applying for an immigrant visa in Canada right now, however, my points (Canada is now having a point system rule to get visas) are lacking. I did not reach the 67 points passing. Mine was only 64. The Canadian Consultant said that in order for me to reach the passing score is to either find a husband and get married OR to study French. Of course, I chose taking up French classes since I don't have a boyfriend to marry to. When I went to one of the schools that teach French classes, I found out that it was costly and I've heard a feedback that it is really hard to learn French (reading, speaking and writing) and I am now frightened if I could ever pass that exam. Anyway, maybe there are some of you here are also taking up French classes or have already took it previously, maybe you could share with me some tips or notes from what have you learned. I would appreciate it much. Thanks! | |
